En route from the Davis Display facility in Toronto, Ontario to their customer’s store location on the West coast, the shipment was halted when the truck was turned over by a tornado. Driver Survives along with the UV Powder Coated parts for a store fixture display.
Davis Display contacted RadEX just hours after receiving word of the accident, asking, “How quickly can you turn around replacement parts?” Understanding the customer has a store opening and the delays could have a financial impact for Davis Display, we at RadEX prepared for a last minute run. Mark Soszka of Davis Display said their insurance company had to see what parts could be salvaged. Davis started opening the packaging and to their surprise, not one UV Powder Coated part was damaged. Mark contributes the survival of the parts to these reasons, 1. The ECO TUFF POWDER COATING™ by RadEX has a hard scratch and abrasion resistant finish. 2. Good packaging practices kept the parts from coming loose from the skid.
