Metal
Framing
All
our products use metal framing members and patented nut and bolt construction.
This method of assembly eliminates
gaping at the corners and material sag within the MDF to promote a tight
controlled product - a must in sound abatement. While MDF is an excellent
material for sound abatement, its also quite heavy and at panel sizes
4' X 7' and 3/4" thick the material will tend to sag tremendously
- metal framing solves this problem.
Radex UV Powder Coating
Seulx
Acoustics has also done away with cloth finishes – a plus for
those who suffer from allergies or simply prefer a clean smooth surface
finish. Powder coating is quickly becoming the new standard for finishing
MDF surfaces, and is the preferred mode of color finishing for Seulx
Acoustics products.

Value
Added due to Powder Coating Process
- seals the outer surface of the
MDF preventing moisture due to condensation in the air from penetrating
the wood
- added layer of powder on either
side of the substrait and its unique textured finish also add to the
overal sound deflection at the surface of the booth
- the surface is splash proof, and
can be cleaned using non-abrasive industrial cleaners
Applications
The
Blackbox Series provides a suitable environment for a variety of acoustic
applications. Wall to wall acoustic foam applied to the Blackbox significantly
reduces reflection creating an environment suitable for voice recording
or broadcasting. Removing the acoustic foam creates a natural reverberation
environment suitable for live instruments.
Vocal
Booths are currently offered in beige (no finish) and black. Clients
are encouraged to inquire about custom coloring.
